I started a new line of items for needlefelting surface design. These mitts are hand knit and then fulled in the washer.
They knit up quickly and then we’re onto the fun of needlefelting!!

I was lucky enough to work with some Make A Wish children. . . we decorated hats to sell at the fundraising ball and auction for the Make A Wish Foundation. Hope they brought in lots of dough!!

I’m desperately low on my felted caps and I have two big parties coming up. . . so, I thought I’d spread the wealth and hire/teach my niece Hannah to operate a knitting machine. She did very well and is on her way to being very productive. Thank goodness!

I was lucky enough to make some new friends in December! We had a needlefelting party and in addition to good snacks and conversation we created some stunning hats.
Want to learn how to knit cables?
In a few weeks, I’m teaching a cable class for first time cablers at this Knitters’ Retreat .
I’ll be covering cable techniques and also how to knit an I-cord and cover how to do good looking seams.
I’m also offering a needlefelting workshop and bringing my hats, clutches and scarves. It is sure to be a fun time.
The retreat is in Medina, MN and looks like it will be lots of fun. There is a full menu of morning and afternoon classes, hiking, lunch, dinner, and an evening of knitting! It is so close you can even drive home if you just must sleep in your own bed!
